MONTREAL -- The Montreal Alouettes announced on Friday that the team has extended the contract of non-import guard Ryan Bomben.
Bomben has been signed to a new three-year deal with Montreal following his breakout season. The Alouettes found an unconventional target in the versatile offensive linemen from Burlington, ON who also lined up as a tight end, hauling in five receptions for 33 yards last season.
The third-year guard scored his first CFL touchdown in Week 18, catching a five-yard pass from Anthony Calvillo at the back of the end zone in a home-field victory over the Edmonton Eskimos.
