HAMILTON -- Hamilton's new defensive coordinator, Orlondo Steinauer, will have one of his most reliable DB's from his days in Toronto as the Ticats have inked free agent Evan McCollough.

A three-year starter in Toronto, McCollough has thrived despite going through three separate defensive coordinators in his time.  Since joining the Argonauts as a free agent in 2010, the 5-foot-11 defender has recorded 159 defensive tackles, 9 special teams tackles, 5 interceptions and 4 fumble recoveries.

Last season, he was a member of a very active Chris Jones-led secondary which one the 2012 Grey Cup.  The Argos booked their ticket to the playoffs in a Week 18 matchup with the Saskatchewan Roughriders which was sealed by a timely fourth quarter interception by McCollough on the Riders’ final possession.

We don't need flashy or mouthy - just good and McCullough will be an improvement over players that were released (like Tisdale!!)

exactly right.....tisdale, will be as mouthy, and as effective (not) in montreal.....should be good news for ricky and hank, in carving up that already anemic D in Mtl
