HAMILTON -- The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have announced the signing of free agent cornerback Deon Beasley to a contract.

Beasley joins the Ticats after spending three seasons coming off the bench to help man the Bombers’ secondary.

The 25-year-old Orange, TX native appeared in seven games for the Bombers in 2012, picking up 10 tackles and one fumble recovery in the process.

More to come...

Anything is an improvement from last year's defense. Cats have signed three decent new db's and 2 more D linemen. Looking much better already! Go Cats go!!

this is a strange one...wasn't even a stand out on a subpar bombers D....only thing he got notoriety on was a dirty hit on a defenseless receiver last year
