Montreal Alouettes

MONTREAL – It hasn’t taken long for the Montreal Alouettes to fill their vacant offensive coordinator position, promoting Pat Meyer to the post.
The job became available just over a week ago when Marcus Brady’s contract expired and quickly joined the Toronto Argonauts coaching staff as their offensive coordinator under former colleague Scott Milanovich.
Under Meyer’s tutelage, the Alouettes’ offensive line allowed just 30 sacks, tied for fewest in the league last season. With plenty of time to locate open receivers, quarterback Anthony Calvillo was able to lead the Alouettes to second in the CFL in passing yards and touchdown passes thrown during the regular season.
