HAMILTON --The Hamilton Tiger-Cats continued to revamp their pass rush.

Monday, the team announced they have acquired DE Brandon Peguese from the BC Lions in exchange for future considerations.

Peguese, a 6-1, 250-pound native of Greensboro, North Carolina, has made four defensive tackles, three special teams tackles and one quarterback sack in seven games with the Lions this season.

Peguese signed with the Lions as a free agent on June 16, 2012 after previously spending time with the NFL's Indianapolis Colts and Philadelphia Eagles.

In four seasons (2007-10) at Howard, Peguese recorded 179 tackles and 18 quarterback sacks, earning FCS All-American and first team All-MEAC honours in 2010.

More to come...

Anything that helps the pass rush is good for the Ti-Cats.

I have to agree GTC. Hopefully we will see him along with last week's acquisition, Torrey Davis, in the line up on Saturday.
